Great book store. They had a lot of newer titles, most of the books were in great condition and they even beat Amazon prices, which is difficult for local places to do. I didn't see anything marked as new or used, so not sure how you can tell besides the wear and tear on the books themselves. TBH, as long as its in good condition, I don't care.Wish I had one in my city!

When I went to College Station back in May, my cousin brought me here to look at records and I was surprised by the big selection! I found THREE COPIES of exact record I wanted, despite it being a really old and kinda unpopular album. My whole family loved it here as there is something for everyone. Book lovers, physical media collectors, and more. I loved this place and cant wait to go back.

I had ordered an out of print book called \"Free-Luving Fresh Water Protozoa\" by David J. Patterson, from HPB for very cheap, $5.99 to be exact. The going rate for this book was $75 - $100 everywhere else. Google it if you don't believe me. I shared my good fortune with my dad, who suggested i had been scammed by either a fake site or by HPB themselves. Indeed I wondered how HPB could be selling me this $75-100 book so cheaply. I became certain I had bee scammed and vowed to be more careful next time.Well, as Gomer Pyle used to say, \"Surprise, Surprise!\" I recieved my book in the mail today, and looked nearly brand new. My dad was wrong, and I was wrong.Thank you Half Price Books that was WAYYYYYYYY under half price.

Love this location! Great selection of VHS and Other physical media! Also picked up a few rare books for the personal library! Excellent staff and awesome service.
