We have been visiting the Mansfield location since it opened and have frequented it more often since the wonderful location in Cedar Hill closed where we had shopped for nearly 20 years. The Mansfield location is a smaller HPB store but still has a nice selection of new and vintage books with numerous signed editions available. There is a small section of comic books and graphic novels to browse through. Similarly the selection of games is not very big but still decent and sometimes there are interesting and uncommon games that come through the store. They have a moderate selection of vinyl records and CD's. The DVD/Blu Ray selection is very good especially for the store size. The staff we have interacted with have been pleasant and helpful. If the store had more floor space I think it would be beneficial and could possibly have a couple of couches added to sit down and do some sample reading. There have been a couple of chairs available at times but they were simple wooden chairs which were not comfortable with old back injuries. The prices are generally good though at times you can find better prices online and through other distributors.Overall it is a very good store and very convenient since we do not like driving into Arlington or the Dallas area.
Love this place. Such a selection. This is one of my favorite locations because they don't wait for the line to be a mile long before calling for backup at the register. The staff is always great too.Great children's book section. Larger than other locations. I like to read about religion and they have a huge selection of new and vintage religious books.Bathrooms are always clean.
Very clean and organized. The staff was friendly. They have always had a great selection of books and can order books if they don't have them in stock. Great place .
Pretty nice Half Price Books everything was really well organized which is the most important thing to me they had a really good selection of non-book items as well
