The employees are always happy to help. You may not get much $ for books you want to sell to them, but its fun to look around and maybe case their clearance in the back. Lots of audio books. If you like romantic fantasy, i saw some of my favorite authors: Kresley Cole and Karen Moning. Highly recommend

Always a great experience here. I have young readers and going to this location they are patient and attentive to my little ones. Need a book and dont see it? Thats ok just ask and they will get it for you!

I love going to half price books for videogames and movies. This one has a big collection of VHS which you don't see often, got myself a copy of Cats. Had a lot of PS2 games, but I didnt like that a good amount of their games was behind glass, wanted to look at the price without having to bother the staff, but I get it.

Totally worth the drive, we just don't have any HPB inside the loop 610 anymore. It was a cold rainy day and I wanted to get out and there had been a post on IG by a friend who showed the stairwell in the Rice Village store. This prompted me to take an evening drive a couple of hours before this location closed up for the day. It was great to be back in a half price books after so long. Picked up a few gifts. I must've spent an hour in there.

I love half price books. It seems like they have fewer and fewer locations but this one was nice. Staff were helpful and welcoming.
