This book was recommended to me by a customer, and I have read the first book and will soon read the second and third. Delightfully entertaining, fans of sci-fi/fantasy, steam-punk, and near-future dystopian will enjoy the wit, giggles, and unexpected twists of this classic story. Agatha's character is amusing, endearing, and relatable. Growing up, she knows she's clumsy and not quite up to the mark as an inventor, but it doesn't stop her from trying to be the best lab assistant possible. Yet, when her school is destroyed and taken over by Baron Klaus Wulfenbach, she learns more about herself, her family, and her true destiny. However, she's going to have to escape in order to finish her quest, and Agatha's just the character to defy the odds and beat the enemy.
