    The book doesn’t center around one hero/heroine but has many interconnecting storylines. It can be difficult to incorporate so many characters into one book but I think Ms. Singh handled it beautifully! What I loved most about the book was the romance! So much love and it was entertaining to experience so many happily ever afters in one book! There’s one storyline that pulled at my heartstrings and that was of the human priest Xavier Perez. His struggles with his faith and his feelings for his one true love just...wow. So powerful. If you love exciting, entertaining, spectacular world building with complex plots, relatable characters and witty dialogue, you’ll find it all in a Nalini Singh novel. I highly recommend this and every book by the author!
