    This book shows how a public servant can become so drunk with power that he feels the law doesn't apply to him. This book probes Thomas Capano's background to show where his predatory ways began. How he went from a truly nice guy to believing that he can have who he wants regardless of the fact that they no longer wants him. Being a powerful public servant, for so long, even gives him the idea that he can even get away with murder. The murder of Ann-Marie Fahey was cold and calculated. His power driven ego convinces him that he will get away with it. That same power driven ego caused him to treat Ann-Marie like an object, rather than a person.
