I rarely read murder mysteries but I'm glad I read this one.
Agatha Christie is the Queen of Crime for a reason. In arguably her best book, And Then There Were None, she does not disappoint. The story revolves around ten individuals who are trapped on an island. One by one they are murdered. Who could be committing these crimes except for one of the ten characters themselves? As more deaths occur, paranoia and desperation set in. Featuring twists and turns along with richly developed characters, this is a must read for any mystery fan. Enjoy!
HPB Staff ReviewTen people with seemingly nothing in common are tricked, coaxed or bribed onto an island by an unknown host. At first it seems like a party thrown by an eccentric man, but when the host never shows and the guests are each accused of a terrible crime, the party takes a fatal turn. As guests start dying, they have to decide if the killer is one of them, and if so, who can they trust? How can they escape this island? Agatha Christie is quite simply brilliant. As I read this for the first time, a hundred different solutions occurred to me, but I am not at all embarrassed to admit that each of my guesses was wrong. Can you figure out who the culprit is before it's too late?
