    This book is such a touching and genuine story, filled with characters who are both imperfect and wonderful. Gorgeously paced, charming, sometimes sad -- but ultimately hopeful and warm in all the right ways. The complicated family dynamics were especially perfect, with parents who screw up and are allowed to be human, and conflict that adds to the richness of the characters. An absolute favorite, and one I can't recommend highly enough.
