  • A Completely Surprise Ending!

    On the surface, Behind Her Eyes seems like your normal psychological thriller. Weve all heard the story man cheats on his wife with a lady he meets in a bar, the lady turns out to be his new secretary, the man turns out to be married and then the lady accidentally becomes best friends with the mans wife, unbeknownst to him. Should be a simple, overdone story, right? Absolutely wrong. From the very beginning, you can tell that theres something different about this story. Something that you cant quite put your finger on, but it keeps your attention, so you keep reading. And reading and reading, until suddenly everything starts to change. It becomes very apparent that this story is not at all what it seemed. So you start racing towards the end, trying to figure out what exactly is happening here. And then, you get to the ending, and it will knock you off your feet. Completely and utterly shocking. The phrase behind her eyes has a very unexpected and surprising meaning in the end. Curious? Youll have to read it to find out for yourself!

    Definitely read the book before you watch the Netflix series! Although the series is an incredible adaptation, I did think reading the book beforehand gave you a lot of better context and subtleties. Absolutely enjoyed and didn't see the ending! #SpringPicks

    Behind Her Eyes has the craziest plot twist I have ever read, and the complexity of the characters draws the reader in as you get to know more about them on every page. You will both love and hate the two lady leads, but they are so interesting and dynamic that you will be dying to know more. Sarah Pinborough never ceases to amaze any kind of reader. From horror to mystery to sci-fi there is something in here for anyone.
