Overview

The complex story of a notorious lawsuit in which love and inheritance are set against the classic urban background of 19th-century London, where fog on the river, seeping into the very bones of the characters, symbolizes the corruption of the legal system and the society which supports it.

  • This Classic Has Everything!

Mystery, romance, tragedy, and comedy all in one epic story. This story is easily in my top three favorite works by Dickens. The characters are some of Dickens' finest and surprise twists and turns lead to an unexpected ending. A great book for your summer vacations! #SummerReading
