If you've only seen the movie you are missing out here. King weaves a tale of innocence, social acceptance, religion and sexuality! Woah.

Bullied teen girl with telekinesis. Whatever could go wrong?

She's bullied in school and abused by her religious zealot of a mom. Plus, she has these unusual powers. What's a teen girl to do? Everything comes to a head on prom night when the queen bee plays a horrible prank on Carrie. #SummerReading
