    This book and the rest of The Mortal Instruments series are the best books I have ever read. Since reading these, I have been working my way through the rest of Cassandra's books and I am HOOKED. Words cannot express how highly I recommend this book and all of Cassandra's books. #SpringPicks

    Thought I would pick this up and try it out to see if I would be interested in the series. It was so good! Great world building, interesting characters and great plot twists. Have read the first 3 books in 2 weeks!

    I've never really wanted to read The Mortal Instruments because I thought that there would be too much fantasy for me. I finally decided to give City of Bones a chance, and I loved it! It wasn't consumed be creatures, with only the occasional demon thrown in for the characters to fight. Also, the book seems long, but I got through it rather quickly. I couldn't stop turning the pages! I wasn't sure how to feel about Jace in the beginning, but I learned to like him. The only negative thing about City of Bones was the ending. I was expecting an exciting cliffhanger, but I don't feel rushed to read the next book, City of Ashes. I still excited to see how the series continues! #SummerReading
