E.L. Konigsburg won the Newberry award in 1963 for the book From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. The story is about a pair of runaway children, a brother and a sister, who run to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Once settled into their new hideaway, they spend their days and nights attempting to solve a museum mystery that brings them to an old woman who may have the answers.
