Can be read daily, instead of by long chapters. The many of the comments/ stories with each entry resonated with me. I have given copies or recommended the book to friends.

I have so appreciated this daily meditation book since my husband died 8 months ago. Clearly it has been written from the heart and soul of one who has known a devastating grief. The meditations have hit the mark nearly every day for me. I love the openness and non-judgmental way of understanding that the grief experience is highly personal, and it is an ongoing and unpredictable process. I love the variety of authors and perspectives. The daily readings are deeply spiritual without any presumption of religious knowledge or faith tradition of the reader.
