    Jem and the Holograms take that old TV Show from the 1980s about a group of girls who use a hologram to transform themselves into a band like no other. In the comic, Jerrica has too much stage fright to be able to sing and perform with her sisters, until Synergy comes along and aids Jerrica by letting her become Jem. It's drawn by the wonderful Sophie Campbell whose fashion instincts are just fabulous. The songs show through the art as well. The story is different than that of its original, but it's set in a more modern world, so it makes sense. Written by Kelly Thompson, who keeps the story fresh and exciting.
