Every one I know that read this book has told me they cried. My goal in reading this book was not to cry. What do you think I did while reading this book? There are so very few books that make me an emotional wreck. And this was most definitely one of them. Such an amazing book!
HPB Staff ReviewLouisa Clark desperately needs to find a new job; the only problem is she really isn't trained for anything. Fortunately, the Traynor's aren't looking for anyone "skilled," to take care of their son Will, who has been wheelchair-bound since an accident left him paralyzed. All the Traynor's want is someone who will show Will that life is still worth living, and Louisa's gregarious personality and generous nature seem to fit perfectly. However, as Will and Louisa grow closer together, she discovers that there are things the Traynor's aren't telling her. Be prepared to sob uncontrollably.
