  • Something for everyone; intrigue, history, romance, mystery, and a twist

    Rebecca D. - 10 months ago

Having never read Sarah Jio before, I went into this book with no expectations. The story line caught my attention within the first 5 pages. After that, the beautiful setting on a houseboat, the character developments, plot, and twists had me craving more. This is a book that begins with tragedy, moves into mystery, delivers some light romance and then ends with a twist that will have the reader believing in magic. Two separate stories are related, more than 50 years apart, helping the reader to develop a bond with history and a sense of urgency in the present. Since reading "Morning Glory," I have read 3 of her other 7 books, and I have yet to be disappointed.
