    Mouse Soup by Arnold Lobel is a fun story about a clever little mouse who gets put in a cooking pot by a hungry weasel. The mouse tells four stories to the weasel while planning his great escape. Each story is filled with fun and exciting characters. My daughter and I enjoy making up voices to match each character, and add a little fun to the already delightful tales. Arnold Lobel is also an imaginative illustrator. His images are as delightful as his stories. This book has been a family favorite in my home for years.
