An Insight to A life Unknown
Marcela M. - 4 years 4 months agoin 1991 Jeffery Lionel Dahmer was arrested in his Milwaukee home. What was found inside was unimaginable and chilling to say the very least. Severed heads, human torsos, painted skulls and cooked human body parts. MY Friend Dahmer is written wonderfully by Derf Backderf, a former classmate of Jeffery Dahmer. Documenting Dahmer's high school life, or lack there of, Backderf paints an intriguing picture of the serial killer before he was a serial killer. It's a very interesting, quick read. Any and all true crime fans should give this graphic novel a read! 10/10!

This graphic novel describes stories of Dahmer's time in high school observed by the writer himself.
Erika O. - 4 years 6 months agoI enjoyed this novel because unlike documentaries and other books that describe Dahmer's awful crimes, this one shows him in a different light. Backderf describes his friendship with Dahmer before he became the killer we know today. The art really adds to the fun of reading this book. I, personally, don't have much experience with graphic novels, but I loved it. A quick and entertaining read!
