  • Bringing a new generation of fans to comics.

    Haileigh B. - 8 years 4 months ago

Ms Marvel: No Normal fundamentally changed the world of comics. Kamala Khan breaks every stereotype imaginable- she's a practicing Muslim teenage girl in Jersey City who writes Avengers fan fiction and daydreams about having fun with her friends. When she is given superpowers, she has to decide whether being "normal" is more important than being a hero. One of the most accurate and empathetic portrayals of a modern teenager to date, Ms Marvel inspires readers from age 12 to 92 to be a hero for the people in their lives and have fun doing it. After all, "Good is not a thing you are. It's a thing you do."
