  • I <3 tortoises

This is one of my favorite novels by Terry Pratchett. The story points out inherent flaws in organized religion without condemning it, which is pretty impressive considering that one of the main characters is a tortoise. I wouldn't necessarily recommend reading it unless you're already familiar with the Disc, but it's a great novel within Pratchett's world.

  • It's Pratchett's world & we live on it.

This was a fantastic book! Pratchett's knack for the absurd and the poignant side by side is on full display with this installment of Discworld. It is (sort of) in the Monastery of Time stories, but its focus is mainly on the Omnians -- Without spoiling it more there is a god and he's a turtle and only one person believes in him. Hijinks ensue. #SpringPicks
