Limited Numbered Edition - no. 171/400. From the certificate of authenticity: This photograph of Paul was taken backstage at Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati on February 12th, 1990 during the 1989-90 World Tour.
Paul had just finished his sound check and decided to sit down backstage while he waited to do a video interview with MTV.
He is casually dressed in a long sleeved t-shirt, vest, blue jeans cuffed at the ankle, and a pair of argyle socks and black running shoes. If you look carefully you will see a blood blister on a finger of his right hand.
Bill Bernstein was Paul's personal photographer for much of the World Tour in 1989-90.
Bill has gone on to photograph Paul and his family numerous times after the tour.
Mr. Bernstein was sent to Paul's home in Sussex, England by Time Magazine to photograph Paul for his 50th birthday.
He also chronicled the rehearsals and performance of Paul McCartney's Oratorio at Carnegie Hall.
Paul is said to feel very comfortable with Bill.
