  • Continuing a great story that brings your favorite characters back together

    Laura K. - 1 year 4 months ago

This book takes us back to the roots of the now-scattered Runaways, originally brought to life by Brian K Vaughn in the series so many fell in love with many years ago. Now acclaimed author Rainbow Rowell takes her deft hand in character development and makes us love these characters all over again. Kris Anka adds brilliant colors and gives lovely depth to these great characters. It's a harmonious marriage of art and writing that elevate this book to a higher level. In the beginning it's about all of the characters that have spiraled apart over the years and the return of a character that didn't get to live those years. It takes the idea that the group is still a collection of lost souls trying to figure everything out. It's about how we grow apart from people only to realize that they are the very thing we need.
