    California Screaming is no joke. Well, it's kind of funny. Lottie's back with the same ol' gang, and they've left us with even more loose ends than we started with. It's still unclean what Coolgirl's deal is; Cutegirl has a twin she has never mentioned, and Normgirl is in a constant wedding planning tornado. Who is Virgil, and why is he suddenly everywhere? Will this detective hurry up and solve everything for us? None of the pieces have quite connected yet, but the gorgeous illustration and tongue-in-cheek humor have me anxiously awaiting the next installment in the Snottie saga.
