  • A near future parable of life, love and belief

A classic once banned in multiple cities, Heinlein's finest novel analyzes every corner of the human condition through the eyes of a man born on Mars and raised by aliens. The tale takes interesting twists as our protagonist, Valentine Michael Smith, returns to Earth and introduces humanity to ideals that will influence generations to come...

  • Sometimes we all feel like a stranger.

It's Robert Heinlein so need I say more? I just read this in its entirety for the first time and am kicking myself for not getting to it sooner. Fabulous work by a timeless, eloquent author. I felt for Valentine Michael Smith in his attempts to adapt to Earth and feeling terribly strange about his new surroundings. Highly recommend.

  • If you like science fiction with a twist, this title is definitely worth reading.

This science fiction book had been in my personal library for years. During a move it was lost and I had to replace it as it was one of my favorite all time. It was not a "cut and paste" type of story-line, but an original thought provoking story. I especially like the "witness" character as they only state what they can actually see and touch.
