    Tarzan turns societal norms on their head: instead of worshipping civilization, it glorifies Man and Nature. Tarzan is everything a "gentleman" shouldn't be--he's savage, brutish, eats uncooked meat and was raised by wild animals! In spite all of this, he is still human at heart and is capable of love. High adventure, treasure hunts, death-defying battles with wild animals and romance await the readers of Tarzan of the Apes!
