  • Don't go into labor before you read this book...

    John A. - 3 years 10 months ago

I did my best to memorize this book during my wife's final weeks of pregnancy. While she was in labor I felt calm and prepared: I understood everything the nurses and midwife said to each other, I knew what questions to ask, and I had at my disposal an arsenal of techniques to help my wife. After, we both felt that the birth went as well as it could have--understanding that nothing ever goes as planned in labor and delivery. We were able to flow with the situation as things changed and have the best birth experience possible. When it came to my turn to give birth I felt slightly less calm and in control but I still felt prepared and confident through it all. Again, we felt we had the best birth experience possible, and I believe this book is largely to thank.

When it came to my turn to give birth, I felt slightly less calm and in control, but I still felt prepared and confident through it all. Again we felt we had the best experience possible, and I believe that this book is largely to thank.
