  • The real power behind politicians.

    Brian M. - 5 years 5 months ago

For those interested in the workings of the US, and indeed the world financial system, "The Creature from Jekyll Island" is a must-read. Never has this information been more timely than now. In short, the book examines the history behind the so-called "Federal Reserve" - from how the Federal Reserve act was passed, who benefitted from it, and how it has pervasively affected all aspects of government policy since 1913. Ever wonder why your paycheck is constantly losing ground from year to year? The yearly theft of 2-3% of the national GDP via inflation is government policy mutually agreed-on by both major parties. Ever wonder how and why unpopular wars are decided on and funded against the will of the populace? Keeping the military-industrial complex going can only be paid for by the hidden inflation tax, facilitated by the ability to create money at will. The ability to create money at will also removes public opinion from the debate. These and many other important topics are addressed in this book. It is a truly shocking expose of the financial system and its true beneficiaries, which will spur you to further research on your own. Highly recommended.
