The second book in Kiera Cass's #1 New York Times bestselling Selection series
With even more glamour, intrigue, and swoon-worthy romance, this sparkling sequel to The Selection will captivate readers who loved Veronica Roth's Divergent, Lauren Oliver's Delirium, or Ren e Ahdieh's The Wrath & the Dawn.
Thirty-five girls came to the palace to compete in the Selection, and to win Prince Maxon's heart. Now six girls remain, and the competition is fiercer than ever--but America Singer is still struggling to decide where her heart truly lies. Is it Prince Maxon--and life as the queen--that she wants? Or is it still Aspen, her first love?

I didn't think this was as good as the first book. Both books were fun reads and I finished them quickly, but the decisions America made in The Elite had me stressed out, and some of the other characters were also making decisions that I wasn't really proud of. I am looking forward to reading The One though! Hopefully the characters have grown up a bit since The Elite. #SummerPicks
Best book I have ever read. I can't wait to read the next one.
Definitely a great book, did run a bit boring since it focuses more on America's ever changing feelings in the love triangle instead of focusing on the girls and narrowing it down. I also wish there were more about the rebels they feel like such a one dimensional rebellion that the royals barely even consider even when their lives are at risk in their own castle.
I needed a series to get me out of my book slump and this was just what I needed. I love story-line and the whole dystopian concept. The characters are so easy to love and I got way too attached. I honestly couldn't put down these books and I wish there were 10 more! #BannedBook
I thought it was a very good series, I highly recommend.
