  • A book formerly interesting to me when I was a young "housewife" in the 60's

    Although I tried diligently to read the book, I stopped due to frustration. The issues are too old and "labored" to maintain my interest. To be fair, I did learn a lot when I read it in the 60's. In comparison with current events, I see little value in the book EXCEPT for its portrayal of the way women used to think of themselves.
