    A good translation for personal study! I often study from a variety of versions as I find it refreshing to read what can become a well-known account in different language--it makes the details pop out anew! This translation is one my pastor would refer to quite a bit as "I like how The Living Bible puts it..." and I agreed!! I do love some of the different wording and expression in this version. Again, God's Word is awesome and refreshes my soul! The hard back is nice and it was packaged well, arriving in a timely manner.
