  • the Lorax teaches the importance of environmental activism

As my previous review disappeared- #BannedBooks this is my favorite Dr. Suess book ever since I was a kid. It really effected me. Amazing how Dr. Suess was able to draw children with a entertaining story while being able delving into environmental activism issues and motivate children in become lifelong advocates. I always remembered one quote that brought meaning to my life, “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It's not.” ― Dr. Seuss, The Lorax

This is a keeper. A wonderful book to read to read out loud to little ones.

  • Great read with kids

I love this book. Its message teaches us that we should preserve our resources and not take the current availability for granted.

  • A childhood favorite.

I really do not understand how this book can be a banned/controversial book. It is a children's book that talks about what happens when you do not conserve your natural resources. It is a lesson that we all should learn before even more things become extinct then already are or soon will be. "I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees."

#BannedBook Not sure why anyone would ban this book; it is my favorite Dr. Suess book! "My name is the Lorax, I speak for the trees." With some real world applications, but the Dr. Suess fantastical treatment, it is a classic. You will love The Lorax, wish for a truffula tree or five, and want to play with the barb-a-loots. :)
