  • The single best book about baseball

    It's not just that this is the best book about baseball, although it is, James is digressive and thoughtful and illuminates the sport, and the world, in new ways. I have learned so much from this book, and not all of it was about baseball. He is the giant in the field of baseball analytics, but he is also an excellent writer and deep thinker.
