A rare edition (number 190 of 300 total) of "The Stonemasters: California Rock Climbers in the Seventies." This is an award-winning book that documents the lives of a group of teens in the Southern California of the 70s, a loosely organized tribe known as the Stonemasters, through timeless photographs and harrowing stories. The book itself is in very good to near fine condition, with no signs of shelf wear, foxing, or bumping. The plastic external dust jacket shows some yellowing on the back cover and spine, possibly from sun exposure. A very human portrait of a niche 70's subculture! An incredibly interesting coffee table book or deep dive for the avid climber.
