  • "TRUTH is Stranger than FICTION!!"

    Dan S. - 5 years ago

I am about to finish this book...20 more pages!! Most people know Jefferson for writing the Declaration of Independence? But Brian Kilmeade has brought out in a very lively style the facts and color of the "American Gov't vs. the Pirates" struggle. In vivid style along w/ appropriate relevant maps & the (most in color) photos and artwork in the middle of the book bring home the excitement of this little-known war of the U.S. Navy & Marines vs. the Tripoli Pirates of North Africa!!! Beginning the book with short sketches of the Personalities and People of this early American war overseas helps orient you into what you are about to read and sets the scene for the book. 17 Chapters of pure excitement!!! I can't wait to read another book by these this two-person writing duo next--"George Washington's Secret Six!!" Both of these books are historical non-fiction but >>> READ LIKE THE BEST FICTION that authors can spin? As has often been said, "TRUTH is Stranger than Fiction," true?!! You betcha!!! --Danny Spears (Little Rock, AR)
