    I love this book, it is the quintessential pirate novel! We are currently reading it in my 8th Grade classroom. I hope it inspires a curious and adventurous spirit in you!

    A classic tale of pirates, treasure, and an island. I didn't read this book in middle school as so many have mentioned in their reviews and I think this would be a challenging book to read at that age. Or maybe it's just me. The archaic wording and jargon was distracting for me. So much so that it was hard to enjoy what I know in its heart is a good story. #SummerReading
