Walden, written over a century ago, is the quintessential novel for the modern environmental movement. This book has inspired me to live more simply in all aspects of my life, whether it's my wardrobe or the foods I purchase. It has also encouraged me to spend more time in nature and to put down my phone more often and enjoy the company of those I'm with. Walden has also shown me that I don't need to live a life in the fast lane, constantly being busy and constantly trying to store more money and more things and never being able to get enough of either. Simply sitting outside with a mug of coffee and no phone is enough. Sitting quietly is enough. You are enough. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
