  • A Fitting End

    Allen M. - 5 years 2 months ago

Detective Hank Palace travels in search of his sister as an asteroid hurtles ever closer to its impact with Earth. Palace races the asteroid as he spends the final days fitting together clues of his last case (perhaps everyone's last case). Winters brings his "Last Policeman" trilogy, an unlikely blend of mystery and science fiction, to a wonderful, at times comic, thoughtful conclusion. What a good, sound, well-written series. I laughed, I cried, I rooted the hero on. I wished him well. What more can a book deliver, eh?
